Children's world
Magic shows, puppet theatre, an adventure playground and an activity team that comes up with something new every day.
One enormous playgroundonly better
Hello, adventurers! Our campsite is like one enormous playground, only better. There's something new every day: magic shows, gripping puppet theatre stories and real pirates (all right — almost real) to make you laugh, stare and join in.
On the big playground and at the football pitch you'll find new friends, guaranteed. Or would you rather follow in Robin Hood's footsteps at the archery range? And for water lovers there's something special: surf lessons. Kite or windsurfing — this is where you learn to ride the waves like a professional.
When the sun goes down it really gets going: bread twists over the campfire, a children's disco, or spooky-but-funny night walks. The time flies. Our activity team is always around, with the best ideas for games and a proper ear for what you feel like doing.

Ponies and alpacas at Sunset Farmjust next door

- Walk with alpacas and earn your alpaca licence
- Stroll down to the beach with a woolly alpaca and then watch them go into the water. Good, isn't it? On the alpaca licence course you learn everything about these gentle animals: where they come from, what they like to eat and how to look after them. By the end you're a genuine expert, with a certificate to prove it.
- Riding lessons and rides through the dunes
- Live out the dream of a ride along the beach and see Fehmarn from an entirely new angle. Fresh sea air, the sea rushing beside you. If you'd rather start gently, book a riding lesson first: you go over the basics in a group and may well pick up something new.
- Sitting on a horse for the first time
- Never ridden but always wanted to? On the guided mini rides you take your first steps in the world of horses. There are also lunge lessons, where the instructor, your pony and you go through the basics calmly and without pressure.
Alpacas and ponies are booked in advanceat sunset-farm.de
Turning up on the day doesn't work with the animals — they have their own routine, and the groups are small. Everything is booked beforehand: the alpaca walk, the alpaca licence, riding lessons, mini rides.
That runs exclusively through the Sunset Farm website. That's where you see the free slots, the minimum ages and the prices. We can't do it for you through this site or at reception.

What you can get up tothe good bits

A playground to let loose on
Our adventure playground is quite something. Two enormous bouncy pillows are waiting for your best jumps. Feeling brave? Then climb the giant rope spider. For anyone who likes to spin there's the roundabout — careful, you will get dizzy. And the climbing walls are where you show what you can do.
Children's events
It never gets dull, promise. At the puppet theatre you'll laugh until you cry when Kasper outwits the robber; at the magic show you won't stop staring. The children's party is a whirl of games, music and mess, and on theme days you train for a circus performance or live through a pirate adventure. The high point of the season is the farm festival: stroking animals, riding, and feeling like a proper farmer for a day.
Activities
The children's programme is a treasure chest of surprises. In craft time you make things, from colourful dreamcatchers to daft sock puppets. Or is a treasure hunt across the whole campsite more your thing? Small chefs conjure up snacks at the baking and cooking sessions, and board game tournaments, card tournaments and bingo let you try your luck. For winding down there's children's yoga, and for dancing it off, the mini disco.
Out on the beach
Exploring the natural beach: collecting stones, hunting for shells and seeing what the Baltic has washed up overnight.
Evenings by the fire
Bread twists over the embers, a children's disco, and spooky-but-funny night walks once it gets dark.
Sports programme
Next football star? Then show what you've got on the sports field. Table tennis ace? Challenge other campers to a tournament, or smash the ball over the net at beach volleyball with the sea in the background. For water lovers there are surf courses, wind or kite. Fancy a round of jiu-jitsu or archery? And the island is well worth exploring by bike.
